Topical Cannabis Salve

A topical salve is like a lotion. You rub it on your skin where ever you are experiencing pain. When you apply the salve almost instantly there will be pain relief without any psychoactive effects. As the salve has time work its way into the skin you should noticed your muscles relaxing. With you muscles relaxing you might notice some of your joints popping back into their natural passions giving greater pain relief. Some of the best new about the cannabis infused salve is it is super easy to make.

What you need:

Crock pot
1-1.5 OZ of cannabis trim leaves
32 OZ of coconut oil
4 bags of Celestial Seasons Sleepytime Extra
1 Tbs Vitamin E
1 1/2 tsp peppermint oil extract
1 OZ beeswax

Let the coconut oil melt inside the crock pot. Then add in 1 to 1.5 oz of cannabis trim leaves. Also cut open the 4 bags of Celestial Seasons: Sleepytime Extra and dump inside the crock pot. Let this cook at 200 Fahrenheit for 4 hours storing frequently. Strain through cheese cloth and put back inside the crock pot. Add in 1 Tbs of vitamin E and 1 1/2 tsp of peppermint oil extract. Along with 1 oz of chopped up beeswax. Once all the beeswax is melted completely turn off crock pot and let the oil cool some.

As soon as the oil has cooled some you can put the salve into containers to be able to use. Use a small jar for a few ounces of salve and store the rest in a larger container in the freezer for latter. The salve will become solid once its is below 74 degrees.

Now you can enjoy instant pain relief by rubbing the salve on painful muscles and joints.

    1. Andrea, I get my beeswax from the health food store in town. Also other places to look are local honey dealers. Sometimes craft stores have beeswax as well. All else fails get a 100% beeswax candle and use that. Amazon also sells beeswax online.
